Saliva Specimens

Anytime a specimen is required, your client must sign the Lab Authorization slip which permits the Health Professional to obtain the specimen and permits the laboratory to conduct the necessary tests and forward the results to the insurance company. The back of the Lab Authorization includes a complete list of possible tests that may be part of the testing profile. For reasons of confidentiality, only the insurance company and the laboratory know which specific tests are being done. Your client can obtain the complete listing and his/her results by requesting this in writing to the insurance company who will release this to your client’s family physician.

Fasting is not required. Please do not rinse with mouthwash prior to collection.
This service usually takes 10-15 minutes.
